Accessibility statement
We want everyone to be able to use vardiq.co.uk, including people who use a keyboard, a screen reader, magnification or other assistive technology.
The standard we aim for
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. As a private company we aren't covered by the public sector accessibility regulations, so this statement is voluntary. We publish it because we want the site to work for everyone, and because, like every UK service provider, we make reasonable adjustments for disabled people under the Equality Act 2010.
What you should be able to do
- Use every page with a keyboard alone, starting with a "Skip to content" link
- See where you are: every link, button and field shows a clear focus outline that the top bar never covers
- Zoom to 400% and read pages on screens from 360 pixels wide without scrolling sideways
- Read all text against its background at WCAG AA contrast or better
- Turn animation off: if your device is set to reduce motion, the site shows everything in its final state without moving
- Read every page with JavaScript turned off
- Use the opt-out form without dragging, timing out, or remembering anything
How accessible this site is
We believe this site partially meets WCAG 2.2 level AA. We know of these issues:
- Some decorative background effects on the home page, such as the slowly drifting light behind the opening section, move continuously and have no pause button of their own. They carry no information. Setting your device to reduce motion stops them all.
- Booking a call takes you to Calendly, another company's website, whose accessibility we don't control. If it doesn't work for you, email us and we'll arrange the call directly.
Asking for another format or reporting a problem
If you need information from this site in a different format, such as large print or plain text, or you find something that doesn't work for you, email [email protected] or [email protected]. Tell us the page and what went wrong. We'll reply within 5 working days, and we're happy to talk by phone or video call instead of on the website.
How we tested
We tested this site ourselves on 9 October 2026. We checked every page with a keyboard alone, with JavaScript turned off, with reduced motion, and at widths from 360 to 1440 pixels, and we checked text contrast, focus visibility under the sticky top bar, target sizes and headings against WCAG 2.2 AA. It hasn't yet been audited by an independent specialist.
Preparation of this statement
This statement was prepared on 9 October 2026. We'll review it when the site changes significantly, and at least once a year.
